Helping the Chief Nursing Officer develop
a culture of compassionate care
Jane Cummings is the Chief Nursing Officer for England.
To support the launch of Compassion in Practice, her new national strategy for nursing midwifery and care staff, Jane sought the support of film content, and we were determined to produce something beyond the same-old same-old, talking head piece.
Our suggestion was a bright, fresh and upbeat treatment that would help increase respect for the profession, the pride nurses and midwives feel for their profession and the quality of care and patient experience.
A film that showcased the 6Cs to nursing: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage & Commitment.
To support the vision and bring the 6Cs to life, we produced an animated film that turns the letter ‘C’ into the hero, providing the focus for both the visuals and the narrative, morphing into a series of key words and shapes to get the 6Cs message across.
