The project aims to concentrate on the glazes and their reactive techniques on a surface of the clay. The designs narrate an exquisite story and a perfect blend of international and traditional patterns. Getting inspired by the gradient of sand and indigo of the vibrant state of India, Rajasthan, led to the pathway for strokes. The captivating shades of desert along with the marine colour is an irony that could be seen together. This leads to an enhancement of the aesthetic value of the product. This ceramic project has two series - Desert and Indigo. Each product of the series is handcrafted with unique patterns on it. The enhancement of the underlying design or texture inscribed, carved or painted through the glaze glorifies the clay.
The learning of the project was done by working with craftsmen artisans and designers who have honed their skills through the generation of knowledge to achieve this. Exploration and experimentation with various oxides and pigments to attain the vision of the design.
