hand-cut vinyl on wall, dimensions variable,Floorworks/Relative Space, wall height 11ft x 11ft (south wall) and 11 x 17.5ft(east wall)

I want to engage the physicalproperties of space and architecture with works that explore form and content(or, form versus content) in a personal way using a mundane, commercialmaterial—sign vinyl.

At Floorworks, I started with anatural form—a group of flower heads—taken to an abstract extreme. I want thework to transcend its material to provide the instant impact of a huge abstractpainting, which at the same time subverts the slow and labor-intensive processof hand-cutting large rolls of vinyl and applying it to the wall.
