Recollection Stationery

Recollection stationery reflects upon the small aspects within life, reminding one about the importance of themselves and the beauty of the environment which surrounds them.
Within this first collection by Recollection Stationery it includes beautiful hand crafted items that helps one another to connect with themselves and the receiver. Through the act of giving gifts and exchanging hand written letters, this collection is intended to re-kindle the connection which is lost through our fast paced way of living.

What do you receive when purchasing this collection?

- Intricate illustrative style handmade rubber stamps with recycled wooden backings
- Offcuts of recycled material that can be transformed into re-useable wrapping paper
coupled with natural hemp twine to wrap gifts with.
- Handmade plantable paper, made with household recycled paper and infused with flower petals and Australian native wildflower seeds
- Black ink pad.
Re-useable fabric wrapping paper, personalised with the stamps from collection.
Handmade paper made from recycled paper, infused with flower petals and Australian native seeds. The intended use of this paper is to write a message on the paper to accompany the gift that you are giving. The paper can either be kept for keepsakes or later planted into a small pot.

Once the paper has been planted into soil and provided with enough sunlight and water the native wildflowers will begin to grow. Eventually flowers will begin to bloom and will be able to be collected. When collecting the flowers that have grown from the paper, it is as if the flowers are a recollection of the words once said in the heartfelt letter. Hence, the name of the stationery collection, Recollection Stationery.

We live in such a fast paced environment, constantly surrounded by technology.

We express someone’s importance through a meaningless digital form, a text message which
is far from personal. It is through technology that connection, meaning and communication
has been disoriented. Recollection Stationery instils the importance of connecting with one another through the physical form of putting pen to paper and the exchanging of gifts.
