The 10th Terrace Exhibition titled From Another Hill’s this years theme is Istanbul. The ambiguous borders of Istanbul, its rising skyscrapers and limiting personal spaces, immigrants, the jam and the ‘metropolitan comfort’ are interpreted by artists in a multi-dimensional manner; Istanbul is portrayed as a city where many roads come to an end whilst creating and possessing its own ways. Departing from the name of the exhibiton; ‘Hill’ word is transformed into abstract forms to represent layered context of the exhibition.
