This book is a personal research and study project on the history and evolution of the metropolitan interfaces. This university research consented me to design the Catania Subway identity in 2014/15.
In the first part of the book is exposed the evolution of the "Graphic of Public Utility”, this evolution allowed the change of the urban panorama. The second part of the book is concentrated on the analysis and design of the signals systems of some important subway in the world.
