Sketchbook dedicated to island Biševo for 36 Mountains festival. 36 Mountains is an international festival dedicated to illustration, the goal of the festival is to bring illustration and drawing closer to the public. The selected artists are free to express themselves in their 1,80-meter-long concertina notebooks on both sides specifically designed for this project.
I started making this sketchbook during Biševo Island Artist Residency. Biševo is a small island in Croatia which has beautiful nature and amazing turquoise sea. I wanted to make a visual diary inspired with the life on the island. On the pages you can find animals and plants, traditional Dalmatian words, residents and their stories and events which fulfilled my stay. This was my way to show graditude to beauful Biševo.
