Sprinklr is a 9 year old, social media management platform that helps the world’s largest brands conduct marketing, advertising, care, sales, research, and commerce across Facebook, Twitter, Linkdin, and 21 other channels globally—all on one integrated platform. Sprinklr is in the process of upgrading the product interface from Version 3 of their previous design sprints to a new Space Design System. During this, they’re also relooking at some of their key features after incorporating their customers’ feedback.
Itu Chaudhuri Design was aproched to imporve the whole experience of the product visually and experientially. We were a team of five people — Lisa Rath, Avi Agarwal, Palash Jain, Jasvinder Singh and Sreeja Chaterjee. Of which I worked on the User Interface of the entire app and user experience of three of the modules—Planner, Production Dashboard and Survey Builder.

one colour. three type styles. zero greys.
As the product kept expanding, there were multiple styles being created with every new module, which led to a chaotic interface. It looked washed out as there were multiple greys with minor differences and confusing due to unclear hierarchy. Also from the brand point of view, there was no recall value and distinction. To achieve a sharp, coherent and visually striking interface, we started from establishing a brand colour and then developing a new design system that works universally throughout the product.

The Sprinklr planner can be used by the entire department to house information about campaigns, events, and daily publishing. If you track everything in your departmental calendar, you will have a clear view of how campaigns match up with what the rest of the brand is doing.
