This is my illustration for today’s Jutarnji list. (August 17th 2018.) The article is about the August 23rd, European Day of Remembrance for Victims of Totalitarian Regimes. “The discussion was about comparing Nazism, and should we differentiate communism as an ideology from Stalinism as a political system?” In my opinion, it should be differentiated. That’s why there are no symbols of communism in my illustration, just swastika as a symbol of Nazism.

I usually make faces or important details bigger...

Here I tried a bloody version. But I did not like it...

...and here is the final illustration!

Less than 24 hours from the brief to the finished illustration, and, some 12 hours later, in the morning, I have the newspapers in my hands... It came up nice on the page!
