Best in Show & Gold Medal Winner in SCPA 2012
The 6MOUNTAINS brand was created to tell the story of China’s Yunnan Regions’ rich
and complex history of tea production and culture to the modern Australian tea consumer.
The SCPA competition brief was to create and design an aesthetically pleasing package for a
gourmet tea product using Spicers Paper Interplus 52gsm and Carta Solida 345gsm paperstock,
and two embellishment techniques (Screenprinting/Varnishing) to maximise visual impact
and differentiate the product from its competitors.

Organised annually by the Packaging Council of Australia (PCA) these national Awards are open to all
Australian design students. Students select one of six different industry sponsored and written briefs to complete.
The Best of Show award is selected from over 500 entries from over 35 institutions by a panel of industry representatives.
