Wooden Hall Unit - Built with Reclaimed Wood

This hall unit was first created to have a secondary function of housing my dogs cage/bed (shown in the image below). This dictated the width of the unit.

As with my other woodworking projects this table was created using entirely reclaimed wood. The top surface of the unit is taken from an old shed my neighbour was getting rid of. The main legs are old fenceposts and the struts are a combination of the old shed and pallet wood.

The last picture on the page shows the unit in basic form as it was intended. We moved house, stopped using the dogs cage as his bed and didnt need a hall unit of that size in the new house so I added further structure to the legs, painted the lower section and varnished the top.
I had to get rid of it quite quickly before moving house so I sold it on Gumtree for £50.
