Project: Illustration is Clever
I did a research about the struggles face by students studying Science subjects. The struggles face were having difficulty understanding and memorizing the formula, scientific terms and facts. So, the subject that I chose is Chemistry as this subject consist of difficult scientific terms and facts to be understood. I chose to understand and interpret physical and chemical properties of Periodic Table Group 18, Chapter 4 into a comic illustration. Therefore, each properties would be describe as human personalities. For instance Group 18 does not need to share or accept electrons from other atoms because they have a stable electron arrangement which describes them as self-centeredness and selfish. Flashcards are provided to summarize the story about physical and chemical properties Group 18.
Purpose
To help students understand this subchapter of Periodic Table Group 18 in a fun, interesting and simple way rather than reading it filled with text and not much illustrations.
