ECA - USP: Responsive Design
Introduction

The School of Communications and Arts (ECA) at the University of São Paulo is an institution of higher education and research in the field of Arts and Communication.

Design Process

1. The Needs

ECA's website aims to serve as a communication vehicle for the internal and external community.
The website must provide easy information about events and news taking place within ECA for alumni, prospective students, current students, media and general visitors.

2. The Problem

After talking to students and observing visitors navigating through ECA's current website, the main issues I encoutered were:
1. Visitors take a long time to find the information they are looking for;
2. Events and news are unappealing;
3. The website doesn't adapt to screen size, making it even harder to navigate on tablets and smartphones;
4. Students would like to have their projects displayed on the website.

3. The Solution

The new website aims to:
1. Eliminate visual noise, making it easy to find the information you're looking for;
2. Simplify the website's homepage, displaying only the featured content;
3. Simplify the menu;
4. Add a section to display student's projects;
5. Create adaptable versions for tablets and smartphone.
The Product
1. Computer screen
3. Smartphone version
This is an UX Course assignment. The material was taken from the ECA-USP website and corresponds to actual students' work.
