A prototype for small viewports using the mobile first approach.
This is a prototype build for Fagforbundet and the core page "Medlemsfordeler" and used in two different user tests. 
The first user test was a click test using the web tool Chalkmark while the latter was a user test where I observed the user conducting user tasks in which I had prepared in advance.

The first user test i conducted using Chalkmark provided me with a useful heat map. The heat map shows a banner on top of the page in which the user testing revealed that none of the users actually noticed the message here.

Emotional messages seems to be better placed where the user is actually in need of such information. 
I would also rely on the saying:  “Users almost never look at anything that looks like an advertisement, whether or not it’s actually an ad.” (Nielsen, 2007)

This user insights lays a ground for the following design process.
