Smithy
Client
Smithy is a Dallas restaurant and bar, located in the heart of
Henderson Avenue, carefully blending a modern refined space
with playful and intricate touches.
Objective
Our goal was to bring a sophisticated industrial atmosphere
that did not previously exist in the area.
Execution
Referencing the building's history, which was once a metalsmith's
studio, the logo direction was inspired by iron smithing and the
intricate weaving details created by the masters of the craft, especially
during the height of the Art Deco Movement in the late 20’s and 30’s.
