Seeking Olive pickers, their portraits, their relation with the nature, the way they
interact with mother earth was my focal point in this series of photos. Sometimes
seeing people out of their traditional frames make the audience get involved in
their world.
Some photos emphasize on the figure's personality revealed by their facial
expressions, showing their dignity and their pleasure while working.
Other photos show depth in the relation linking the figure to the earth
where they, by the way they pose, reveal intense relation with the terrain.
While their bodies and their hands reveal their fatigue and exhaustion,
a spontaneous smile on their face express happiness and thankfulness,
and a stare from their eyes expose their optimism and declare their self-esteem.
