I was born and live in the post-Soviet period, in the city of Kiev, Ukraine.

Depression after the collapse of the USSR, the Orange Revolution in independent Ukraine and the Maidan in Kiev: all this has had a very strong impact on the society, formed a national idea. People were divided into groups: someone denied power, someone supported the national spirit in ATU with an automatic weapon in hand, and someone even completely left the country.

Everyone coped with this in different ways. I found myself in photography.

At some point, the denial of reality turned into the idea of mapping the ontology as part of the culture of a post-Soviet person and his mood. As a satire to the world around me.

All that I do not want to put up with appears in my photos: whether it's a Soviet depressive building for ants (people), or uncontrolled piggishness of people, or huge golden dome screaming about the "wealth" of the country or badly designed outdoor ad.

I do not hesitate to demonstrate this, I live in it and this is my reality.

You need to notice the vices, and not keep silent about them. Otherwise, how to correct them, if you do not see?

Я родилась и живу в постсоветское время, в городе Киев, Украина.

Депрессия после распада СССР, Оранжевая Революция в независимой Украине и Майдан в Киеве: все это очень сильно отразилось на социуме, сформировало национальную идею. Люди поделились на группы: кто-то отрицал власть, кто-то поддерживал национальных дух в АТО с автоматом в руках, а кто-то и вовсе уехал из страны.

Все справлялись с этим по-разному. Я нашла себя в фотографии.

В какой-то момент отрицание реальности переросло в идею отображения онной, как части культуры постсоветского человека и его настроения.
Как сатира на весь окружающий меня мир.

Все с чем я не хочу мириться появляется на моих фото: будь то советская депрессивная застройка для муравьев(людей), или неконтролируемое свинство людей, или огромные, кричащие о «богатстве» страны золотые купола или ужасно оформленная наружная реклама. Я не стесняюсь демонстрировать это , я в этом живу и это моя реальность.

Нужно замечать пороки, а не умалчивать о них. Иначе, как их исправлять, если не видеть?
