With the addition of the digital technology to our society, we are constantly on the move and still connected to the rest of the world. This immediate connection has virtually eliminated our need to live and work in just one place.
In my research project I reflect on a new lifestyle linked to the concept of home not anymore geographical related and the sense of belonging.
On my investigation made by visual analysis, in field experiments and online surveys I can affirm that people’s perspective of life has changed in terms of living their relationships.
Social media was created to keep us in touch with our friends spread all around the world, so creating a WhatsApp group I shared part of my ordinary life first with fifthteen of my close friends and then with forty mutual friends. Once a day we shared one photo to document the in-between moments of our life.
Mine is a visual reflection about discovering the unnoticed moments in daily lives as well as a documentation of two different “Collections”.
