How do we feel when we talk about tradition?

The Gooksoondang X NewRiver project began with the idea of reinterpreting the tradition and bringing it to modern times.
Gooksoondang is a traditional liquor company that restores our alcohol and provides it to the public. At the end of the Goryeo Dynasty, the government restored the ' method of fermentation of raw rice ' aimed at making Korean liquor, which represents Korea.
Since the birth of Baekseju, we have introduced a variety of products including makgeolli, Wookooksaeng, and icing.
The first way is to bring tradition to the present day.

Gooksoondang is where traditional liquor is made. In other words, the image we have in our traditional liquor is reflected in our corporate image.

How can I keep my tradition and appeal to modern people?

We found the answer in ' modern ' to make international branding easier for modern people. We considered focusing on the pure function in the introduction of modern times, excluding the glitz of tradition. While throwing away decorations, branding was conducted in consideration of readability and simple form and proportion for meaningful communication.

To expose a variety of contents without leaving the brand image of Gooksoondang, the company built them simply and modern from the layout. Content contents are presented in a modern way, but the area in which contents are captured allows the content itself to be viewed well. It has tradition, but it is not boring, so we will give new trials to our visitors.

We considered a good way to approach younger generations on our website. As a result Gooksoondang consistently introduced the tradition to today's younger generation. SNS is very important in appealing to the younger generation. However, for a site administrator, running SNS separately from the website can be a burden. We looked for ways to appeal to customers and make the site manager convenient.
We chose Instagram API link and implemented it on our website.
Instagram APIs, which are based on hash tags, are often used by many companies to bring in certain images or simple videos. By introducing API link, it was not just about the official Instagram exposure registered by a manager. We used hash tags to call up a variety of Instagram images registered by our customers and have them show off the hot topic Gooksoondang brand on SNS.

The Gooksoondang project introduced modern urban emotional and functional designs without emphasizing the decorative or colorful traditions while conveying traditional corporate values and philosophies. With simple and simple colors and the use of Typo, we have recently applied SNS trends such as linking SNS API channels to neat design guides without any redundancy. In addition, we organized contents through modular design to facilitate operation and maintenance from a management perspective, and analyzed visitors ' type to design and plan effective content layout.
