Keyboard Jewellery is a handmade jewelry brand I created for my jewelry line made of mac keys.
It all started with a simple accident I had two years ago...
I spilled coffee on my keyboard and it got destroyed. I tried to fix it but the hot coffee had damaged it a lot.
So, I thought i could transform it through the process of upcycling to a complete new concept. Upcycling is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or for better environmental value. In order to design the logo I consulted my dear friend Sebastien Nikolaou whose work I really admire.
The brief was to design a logo that was minimal, simple and representative of the innovative idea of the upcycling process.

The first logo attemps did not satisfy me so I thought I should try a more minimal way to depict the concept of the brand. I was inspired by the architectural designs such as a ground plan of a building or an object.

Then I though that a facade of the ring would be more appropriate for a logo.
Thanks to my Anna Trympali for helping me out with the photoshoot! You can purchase them here https://www.etsy.com/shop/MariaKozariMela?section_id=12574695
