O PROJETO - O process de design se iniciou a partir do estudo de um novo material e por meio deste o desenvolvimento de um novo produto, embasados pelo método Material Driven Design - MDD (KARANA et al, 2015). No desdobramento da metodologia foram estudadas as oportunidades de se trabalhar com a cana-de-açúcar, matéria prima abundante na região do Litoral Norte Paraibano, por conseguinte, os primeiros resultados analisados por possíveis usuários acerca das características físicas e estéticas do material, posteriormente elaborou-se uma etapa de criatividade, também sob consulta ao potencial público alvo.
THE PROJECT - The design process began with the study of a new material and through this the development of a new product, based on the Material Driven Design - MDD method (KARANA et al, 2015). In the unfolding of the methodology, we studied the opportunities to work with sugarcane, an abundant raw material in the region of the Northern Coast of Paraiba State, therefore, the first results analyzed by possible users about the physical and aesthetic characteristics of the material, later elaborated a stage of creativity, also under consultation with potential users.
