This is a longboard as the base for the electric skateboard.
The following part is the motor and power system for electric skateboard.
This is the first design and installation of the wheel and synchronizing gear.
The following four modules are the final design of the main 3D-printed gears and mounting plate for motors and power system:
1.Batteryshell is used to hold battery, ESC(Electronic Speed Controller) and other controlling modules.
2.Customized 100%-fill wheel is able to synchronize with the special gear designed for conveyor belt.
3.Gear will be fixed by 6 screws (4mm) and spins with the wheel.
4.Mounting plate is used for holding motor and providing a flat area where gears spin.
I have designed two kinds of wheels for different purpose.
1.For road skating, we choose the first one which is more durable.
2.For mountain skating, offload wheels is better to scale obstacles.
