StayLock Storage | Branding

Opportunity:
The client wanted to break into the self-storage market by buying existing facilities and rebranding under one corporate umbrella.

Solution:
An exciting opportunity to be on the ground floor, we began by researching the market landscape. After assessing what companies were doing well and where there were opportunities, we went onto the naming exercise. By defining four buckets – descriptive, benefit, borrowed interest and invention, we were well set up to create several strategic naming options. The client’s final selection “StayLock” represents their desire to be simple and memorable. It reflects the safety and security of their commitment without being overly cute.
Note: Client's final selection included a white back for writing on; art not shown.
