With a business that was completely hosted in the cloud, it was very important to be able to monitor and visualize costs and usage across the company. We were tasked with creating a "cloud cost tool" to do exactly that. As part of the larger "DA.shboard" project, the CCC was intended to seamlessly integrate with the main dashboard project. It also uses the main navigation principles of the main dashboard project despite being a separate tool.

Below are some very early design and user experience studies, showing the four main areas initially identified for development:

CCC Overview - main landing page with relevant widgets personalized to the team you belong to.

General List - a sortable and filterable list of users and their attached costs and usage.

Custom List - provides a customizable view of individual groups and users for easier comparison and tracking.

Instance Recalculator - a mini tool that provides forecasting of costs based on adjusted usage of cloud instances.
