“A House with a story” is a series of articles by the Kazan Internet magazine “Inde” devoted to the iconic points of view of architecture and urban history of houses. However, they are important not only because of their architectural features. Forgotten by the citizens, these houses are still alive in the stories of the people living in them.
The task is to design a series of articles “My house with history” based on the materials of “Inde”. Creating a visual communication system that matches the nature and specificity of the material and reveals the main idea of the series – people's memories help the reader show a blurred image of the house.
The style is based on a combination of a photo of a house + prints of the past (newspaper, photo, letters as memories of residents of houses) + a layer of tracing paper, as a metaphorical designation of time. All elements are axis-forming.
Two images are connected in the logo - a book and a house. So, as you read the brochures, the essence of the houses is revealed.
«Дом с историей» — серия статей казанского интернет-журнала «Инде», посвященная знаковым с точки зрения архитектуры и городской истории домам. Однако важны они не только из-за своих архитектурных особенностей. Позабытые жителями города, эти дома все еще живы в историях людей в них живущих.
Задача — оформить серию статей «Мой дом с историей», основанную на материалах «Инде». Создать систему визуальной коммуникации, которая соответствует характеру и специфике материала и раскрывает основную идею серии — воспоминания людей помогают читателю проявить размытый образ дома.
В основе стиля лежит сочетание фото дома + отпечатки прошлого (газета, фото, письма как воспоминания жителей домов) + слой кальки, как метафорическое обозначение времени. Все элементы являются осеобразующими.
В логотипе соединены два образа — книга и дом. Так, по мере прочтения брошюр раскрывается суть домов.
