Jaeger Design for DA contest.
For the design of this jaeger I was inspired by the shape of the sanctuary hill, the most important landmark in Jalpa.
The shape of its head is based on the masks of "The tastuanes", an ancient Jalpan tradition.
The design of his painting is inspired by Huichol art (an indigenous ethnic group native from Mexico).
His spear takes the form of a tool for harvesting pitayas, the colors of his painting come from this fruit as well.
