"Undercurrent"
"Undercurrent" is an overhead device that is set up as part of a non-existent medical process.
Its main body is a fully transparent and fully enclosed wearable helmet, which basically does not transmit sound inside and outside, and USES various ways to express self-sealing under social fear.
Wearing a helmet is an outlier in the crowd, and wherever you go, you have to bear the attention of others.In addition to breathing hole, inside and outside the little sound, his voice can be in internal reflection amplification, the communication with the outside world has become extremely difficult inside of the audio source uninterrupted broadcast voice of pointing amplification of yourself in others' eyes, now look fuzzy feeling and fear.
In the work, I designed the shape, brochure, business card and packaging of medicine helmet. I hope it is a complete system rather than a single product.
My intention is to help you better understand people with mental illness, such as people with depression, people with social phobia, who are disadvantaged in society and difficult to be understood by others.
I used zbrush to make the helmet's appearance, and finally made the helmet with 3d printing technology.
