Drawing inspiration from the abstract expressionists of the modern art era, this work provides a visual experience into the emotional turmoil that comes with uncertainty and troublesome decision making.

Each layer of clashing vibrant colours and gestural paint strokes is a chapter in a 12 week journey navigating confusion, elation, doubt, hesitation and disorientation. Tension is found between deliberate mark making and intuitive paint application. Clarity is found at the close. At the presentation of a clean slate.
