Project: Portfolio Website

The brief of this project was to create a portfolio to showcase strictly photography work, however the emphasis was more on creating something dynamic that would not require too much further input. To do this I utilised php, xml and ajax coding languages to allow the photos from each gallery to be pulled dynamically from an entirely different location. This meant that the gallery could be populated dynamically without the necessity to upload new images as and when they require to be added. On top of this to allow for a more fluid user experience I also utilised a custom macro that compresses each uploaded photo to a preset level, meaning smaller file sizes, less bandwidth usage and a more overall fluid user experience.
