Identiy for food event: Gastronomy in the mountains

BRIEF: The annual event "Gastronomi i Jotunheimen" (Gastronomy in the mountains of Jotunheimen) wanted a new look, and I was asked to create a new logo and identity, together with printed materials. The event is a 3-day extravagant feast, with food created by chefs from the world of Bocuse d'Or and Michelin stars. The event features the very best food you can create from local ingredients. The event also featured chefs doing master classes on their knowledge of ingredients and on how to create the best dishes possible.

SOLUTION: There was no imagery of the food that were going to be featured at the event, so I wanted to create a "clean backdrop" to all the colours, textures and flavours of the food. Black and white logo, black and white photography. The mountain next to the event is very dominant, so I took pictures of things from a professional kitchen resembling that mountain. A simple, clean and minimal solution.
