Need: LUMS wanted to break the stereotype of being an elitist education and highlight it’s financial aid
Solution: To share actual stories that highlight that LUMS not only values merit but also equips them to go back and help their communities
Why: LUMS needed an image makeup that divorced its image of being a power hungry corporation and showed it for what it is: an institute that devotes a great deal in uplifting higher education standards in Pakistan irrespective of people’s backgrounds. Real stories rendered the humane light and credibility to achieve the goal
Inspired by the true story of Saima Khan, the film highlights how LUMS acted as the enabler which allowed her to be empowered irrespective of her societal barriers and gave her the skills to return to her community as an agent of change as well
This film aimed to demonstrate that no matter where you are from, if you have the merit, LUMS has the means!
