Public Incident/Accident Report | Typographical Project
This project that began in early July was based around the idea of designing a typographical poster that displays a certain section of statistic-based information regarding witnesses from a particular scenario (in this case anti social behaviour at a fictional pub), by the way of incorporating the same visual style of layout used to show the likes and views of an online video.

As you will see, taking a format that is widely recognised in it’s respective online style and placing it within a setting that is primarily print based, would require a major revamp whereby a strong sense of hierarchy could only be asserted by the use of various text sizes, different colour choices, and combined font weights within shared fonts themselves.

To help push the look of the presentation that little bit further, I decided to add an element of humour to the project by including handwritten sidenotes near various sections of information to help communicate feelings of annoyance, concern, confusion, or even distaste that someone of particular importance (in relation to the stats) may be experiencing.

The final outcomes have been displayed into two very separate mockups, the first consists of the final outcome being placed against a light eroded background, as well as being hung up by the use of wire and paper clips for a more simple less-compact look, in order to help emphasize the actual size of the poster itself without the feeling of making it appear compact or restrict (much like how it would appear inside of a frame).

However, the second mockup sees the final outcome being placed into a frame, specifically a black one, that is then rested up against a wall that shares the same colour as some of the many colours included within the finished poster.

So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!
