Through this design, I spread awareness of the damages electronic waste has on our environment. I recycled wires, computer keys, and speakers to create a chandelier, pointing out that a product can be re-used for another purpose even when loosing its original funtion.
I mimicked the ancient tradition of candles as a source of light, by installing “Phillips DecoLed” light bulbs on the candle blocks, to also give the impression of saving energy.
