My art usually involves a strong feeling, a sense of pull towards a certain direction before I eventually get there. The drawing was made long before the poem, but it always meant to accompany one. This one came quite a while after (my art-sense has no patience for time), but I'm satisfied with the result. Previously trying to depict my feelings towards this subject left me with little to no satisfaction. Which just goes to show, with art; you can't force it. It's a complete force on its own.

The Subject is obviously for all those who we least associate with talent or passion for art. Though many deny it, it has come into a sort of possessive custody under the rich and the influential. Under those who try to control its structure and value, leaving those that don't fit the frame to be shunned and ridiculed. Talent, I think, is not something we need to encase within a certain framework, but to set free and roam to new experiences and discoveries.
