FRED PERRY RECORD STORE DAY 2018 TOTE BAG

FRED PERRY
RECORD STORE DAY 2018
Vinyl records hold a special place in my heart. I grew up an audiophile who once had a big collection, some came in different shapes and colours. In the past, my dad owned a few different vinyl players and I watched him as he carefully placed the needle onto the grooves. It amazed me when music and songs started playing. He also often brought me along to record shopping, the owners and customers will be amused as this small child pointed and picked out records to bring home.

Hence, I felt happy to be a part of Fred Perry Record Store Day's celebration
by designing a tote bag.

"It’s reminiscent of old Singaporean vinyl record covers. It is not only a celebratory piece about talented local musicians in our small but interesting country, but also a celebratory piece about women."

Cheers to the rise in women musicians!
