Commissioned illustrated panels for Novotrapo - Women's fashion importer and reseller (Lisbon, Portugal).
The brief was to create illustrated wall panels with fall-winter season motifs and trend colours for the brand's showroom. The showroom enables the brand's clients to go and have a look and feel into the new collection, so, creating the righ atmosphere for the shopping experience was the topmost priority.
After the research phase, I suggested the usage of two of the 2016 fall-winter trend motifs: patterned flowers prints and geometric shapes (in this case, the stable form of the hexagon). Also, the colour palette was determined in similar fashion, with olive greens, riverside blues, rust and old rose; mustard yellows and neutral taupes.
The client's intention is to exchange the graphic twice a year, so, we had to cut and assemble the wooden pannels in several shapes and sizes, in order to transport and assemble them easily. This is a selection of photos of the process and final result.
