AMERICAN BEAUTY
OPENING TITLES
Brief provided the review of the headlines of the film American Beauty. The constraints were to use only three colors of which white, black and a color of our choice, we had to use only simple geometric figures and typography. The names of the cast have been worked on Adobe Illustrator and printed in black on 250g cardboard, to recreate the movement of the petal as faithfully as possible. Letters were cut by hand and then colored black. The shots were made in the plant with a Sony a7s that was mounted on the crane about two meters from the green screen. The lens used is a 50mm with a fixed focus on the floor. The shots were shot at 100 fps. Subsequently, the slow motion effect (time dilation of 500) was applied to After Effects. Post production and editing have been worked on After Effects. Music is the official soundtrack of the film by Thomas Newman. The fonts used are Future Light, the film's official font and Riot Squad NF.
