Citybeacon —
Web-based infographic experience designed for Citybeacon, the new Smart City communication hub of the future, which connects the local government, businesses, citizens, visitors and tourists.
When I started working on this project my main goal was to go a step further from being merely informative: creating an experiential navigation conveying the added value of a brand focused on satisfying users’ needs. In this respect, my efforts focused on facilitating the access to different contents, concentrating in visual and interaction design, creating a rich, albeit straightforward and pleasant, navigation experience.
The access to information was challenging due to the great amount of it, as well as to the need of having multiple types of contents and different targets side by side.
