The day before Christmas Moose, Bear, Squirrel and Tortoise decided to make gingerbread. With the gingerbread and other sweets friends went to the Fair. Little and shy Tortoise was appointed to be chief merchant. It was very difficult and no one bought the gingerbread. It began to get dark outside. Moose, Bear and Squirrel started celebrating Christmas, but suddenly found out that there was nothing to drink hot chocolate with and that their friend was absent! They hurried back to the Fair, wrapped the Tortoise and the gingerbread into the scarf and together returned to the coffeepot-house. They poured hot chocolate into mugs, exchanged gifts and started discussing adventures which would happen to them Next Year...
