This project was create for Wander New Mexico! This pocket guide tells the story of the company, lists their amazing tours, and gives an insider list of places to visit
The goals of the project were:
1 - Update the copy with new information
2 - Create a style that was cohesive with the brand logo
3 - Make an illustrated map that is fun and engaging
4 - The brochure folds to fit in your pocket!
The front fold of the brochure is bold but fun - giving the title of the brochure, the logo and a sneak peak at the map to be found on the inside.
The map has a list of places to visit, and these places are noted on the map with numbered dots. The map has well-known buildings illustrated and the neighborhoods are color coded because the company provides tours by neighborhood; the tour guests can then refer to the map to see what else they can visit in the area.
The map was hand drawn, painted with watercolor and colored pencil, and then outlined in ink.

The street names and dots were added with layers on the computer and placed on the scanned in image of the map.
