London 2012 Olympic Games
The poster is illustrating the bicycle field inside the London 2012 Olympic Games. Inspired by post-mordent period, simple form and dynamic composition is widely used in the poster to bring out the speed and power of bicycle.
It was my first time to try silk screen painting. It was a great and meaningful experience to me. Different from digital painting, the process took time, but the outcome was super nice. During the painting, a good care and consideration was important. Either the choosing and mixing of colour or the positioning of the images required efforts and concentration. Although the process was not a easy task, the final colour of the poster was great and very fine. The experiment on the effects of lines in the background with silk screen painting also achieved a not bad result.
