The Big Ten Recreational Sports Conference is an annual event that was hosted by Campus Recreation at the University of Illinois in May of 2009. This conference was the first time that many of the attendees would be visiting the newly opened ARC facility on campus where the conference would be housed. I wanted to give them a little preview with the logo and used the architectural grid of the main entrance to the building as my inspiration in developing the logo. The logo was used on all conference promotional, print, and web materials (which I also designed).
