Levi Strauss & Co. - Internship Project

Internship at Levi Strauss & Co.

Towards the final year of graduation, I interned for a period of two months as an assistant for womenswear design at Levi's. It was an incredible learning experience, the most exposure and learning that I was able to absorb while at college. It was great to take in and see first-hand the processes that go into making a Levi's collection- characterised by its timelessness, effortless chic and all-American denim feel.

Below is the outline and results of the individual project I worked on during my time there. While I definitely do not take credit for the creation of this collection, I'm happy to say that I was able to help in small ways and better form and shape my design sensibilities.
Honing onto a typical or potential Levi's customer, their lifestyle and attributes.

One of the ways I contributed to the collection was through the graphic design of these quirky fabric badges that would be sewn onto the garment. As a future illustrator, I must thank my mentor Ms. Diksha Goel for spotting instantly what I had a flair for and enabling me to experiment with it for Levi's.
A second example of one of the more graphic embroidery projects I worked on under mentorship. I was so excited to see the actual sample that surprisingly came in just before my internship ended!
