BOOK: THOUGHTS OF TREASURE DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.(James 4:17).

The above scripture is one of the scriptures that defines what sin is. It says whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, to him it is sin. So if you know what you are supposed to do and you do not do it, the Bible says to him it is Sin. What does that tell us? Sin is a Personal thing. That thing might not be sin to someone else because they did not know it but it is sin to you because you knew what was right and you did not do it. Hallelujah. Salvation is a personal thing, Sin is a personal thing and God relates to us by name and everyone will be judged in the light of what they know. In Luke 12:42 "the Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager...?" This is beautiful, read it slowly. Two important words, faithfulness and Wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to decide and discern right from wrong. Wisdom helps you to distinguish right from wrong. If you know what is right and you do not do it, you lack practical wisdom and to you it is Sin.

A wise man is that man that knows what is right and does it. He functions with practical wisdom and does what he is supposed to do.The Bible says in Luke 12:47-48 that "The servant who knows the master's will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." Hallelujah. This is what the word of God says and it's so important for us to understand that God holds us responsible when we know something and do nothing with what we know. And also what you do with the gifts that God has given to you is so important. Your greatness is in doing those things that you know and in developing those gifts that are within you. It takes wisdom for one to recognise what they have.

It takes wisdom for one to believe in himself and develop himself to His full potential. The Bible says in Proverbs 4:7 that "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding." Hallelujah. Wisdom helps you to see what you should see that others may not see. Wisdom puts you over in life. Here is a secret and I would to God that every Child of God would understand this and apply the wisdom of God's word in everything they do. Success is predictable and it's based on principles. Jesus said in Luke 16:10 that "He who is faithful in very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in very little is also dishonest in much." A lot of people have missed big opportunities in life because they mismanaged litle opportunities. You can be qualified for something and not chosen because you have been unfaithful with little assignments. If you pay attention to the things you do and every little thing and have a personal policy to do excellent things in everything that you do, your success in life is guaranteed and there's nothing on earth that can stop you from being successful in life in the process of time.

The word of God is Wisdom and it makes you wise and build you up. Hallelujah. Christ Jesus is made unto us wisdom. He is the word of God made flesh and the Bible says in John 1:12 to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God.

7 THOUGHTS TO PONDER ON:

1. SIN IS A PERSONAL THING. TO HIM THAT KNOWS TO DO GOOD AND DOES IT NOT, TO HIM IT IS SIN THAT'S WHAT GOD'S WORD SAYS.(James 4:17).

2. FAITHFULNESS AND WISDOM ARE SO IMPORTANT. JESUS TAUGHT ABOUT THE FAITHFULL AND WISE SERVANT. (Luke 12:42).

3.A WISE MAN IS THAT MAN THAT KNOWS WHAT IS RIGHT AND DO IT. A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE MISSED BIG OPPORTUNITIES BECAUSE THEY MISMANAGED LITTLE OPPORTUNITIES. (Luke 16:10, Luke 12:47-48).

4. IF YOU PAY ATTENTION ON THE THINGS YOU DO AND HAVE A PERSONAL POLICY TO DO EXCELLENT THINGS, YOUR SUCCESS IN LIFE IS GUARANTEED.(Proverbs 12:24, Proverbs 10:4).

5. SUCCESS IS PREDICTABLE AND IT'S BASED ON PRINCIPLES. IF YOU ARE FAITHFULL IN LITTLE, YOU WILL BE FAITHFULL WITH MUCH.(Luke 10:16).

6. YOUR GREATNESS COMES IN DOING THE THINGS THAT YOU KNOW AND IN DEVELOPING YOUR GIFTS AND TALENTS(Matthew 25:14-30).

7. WISDOM IS THE PRINCIPAL THING. IT PUTS YOU OVER IN LIFE AND HELPS YOU TO SEE WHAT OTHERS MAY NOT SEE.(Proverbs 4:7).

AFFIRMATION.

I am dependable, trustworthy and faithful. I yeild myself to the word of God and I declare that the wisdom of God is working in me. I am wise and sound because Christ has been made unto me wisdom. I am a go getter. I set goals and I Go to get it done. I am not just a talker, I am a doer of the word and I am a success in everything that I do in Jesus Name. Amen.
