Design Challenge ONE • Logo

For the first project we were tasked with creating a logo using one or more of the new Adobe Bauhaus fonts, Joschmi Regular or Xants Regular. 

Adobe's requirements were to use one or more of the new Bauhaus Dessau fonts to create a digital logo in the Bauhaus style.

The idea for my version of a Bauhaus inspired logo came to me almost immediately upon seeing the word Bauhaus. I came up with the above logo while thinking of an upscale Dog Kennel or Pet Hotel unlike any other and one that I would consider boarding my dog, Diamond at for a few days. 

Blending the new Adobe font Joschmi Regular with the angular, geometric shapes, construction lines and color textures typical of the Bauhaus period I fashioned what I would consider a clean and elegant design suitable to the era and for today.
