concept
a visually experimental book of my attempt to reconstruct Indonesia’s colonial era typography — based on my personal research, analizing the origin & particular character behind its typographies.
finding out that these typographies have a strong charm reflecting the spirit of its era, I want to reinforce each characters by exploring many execution possibilities & sheer away from archaic colonial stereotype. — The whole project resulting various form of contemporary design that could be implemented into nowadays communication media and giving miscellaneous references.
brought with Indonesia's vintage style literature, this book contains some information about the results of my analysis, seven specimen letters, & the application of those letters.
