Beautiful sunsets over the river flowing through Portland, Oregon, USA spurred me to create this photoset communicating the city's bridge transportation. The set focuses on two bridges that allow pedestrians, traffic, and commuter trains to travel from one side of Portland to the other. I was especially interested in how light and reflections created unexpected organic beauty in an environment that is otherwise extremely infrastructure focused. Fascinated with the dichotomy of industrialism in such ethereal settings, I aim to convey the merging of opposites fostering a harmonious yet ever-moving calm.
