Pixolita is a partial typeface I designed inspired by my fascination with the Pixação graffiti of São Paulo, Brazil and my love for runic lettering. I rendered the letters through digital embroidery to feminize and domesticate these conventionally masculine forms.
Included are some explorations of the type, including an alphabet specimen, the letterforms in context, a specimen with an illustrative border, and a fully realized illustration based upon that border.
