I asked Dr. Salman Al Hajri, painter and a professor of art, what art means to him:

"It's important to know the balance and unity in art. Art is a science. If you are interested in discovering it, you will. Foundations need to be understood before someone decides to paint" - says Salman.

"My style didn't just appear. It was a result of many days and nights of various experimentation's and tryouts. It was not just a search. It was indeed a discovery of myself in this art. It all become very clear when I combined bits of structural design into my paintings. Suddenly, structural design and experimental painting collided. The result was fascinating. So, the journey began....

What do I search in my life? I search for happiness. I want to be more relaxed in my relationship with others and I think I do that through my art.

My art is my message... my mission of peace and love.

Art can do so much and it's not fully discovered yet.

That means my journey has just began..."
