Rosette Bath Salts

Rosette bath salts were designed based on the Fox Theatre and Opera House in downtown Stevens Point, WI. The unique and intricate details of the building are represented in the packaging in numerous ways. The shape of the front label is a direct resemblance of the large front window on the Theatre and the small dot pattern outlined the windows and doors. The entire package would ideally be a frosted glass bottle that I modeled out of plastic with colored ribbon to attach the labels and a wooden cork to keep it sealed.

A rosette is defined as a round, stylized flower design used as an architectural detail. The Fox Theatre contains many rosettes in the architecture, hence the name and the large circular illustration on the front label. Every little detail was extremely important in the packaging to correctly resemble the historical theatre.
